Neti pot and other sinus rinse people

Do you really always boil the water you use, or use bottled distilled?

I've been using tap water for a while and I just bought more premixed saline packets and just noticed it says NOT to use tap water.

Do you?

I've always just used tap water.

It probably does (marginally) raise the risk of sinus infection.

Tap water.  I just use my netti pot when I'm stuffy; not an everyday thing.

I wanna go where I can lighten up the load; Drive a little while on the wrong side of the road
Get this laying low off to a flying start. Play my guitar in the Caribbean sun
Hang with the locals at the Quiet Mon, Where you can be a tourist, a beach bum, or a star
And be as you are

I do it everyday in the shower so it's tap water. I use a mixture of pickling or kosher salt and baking soda.

Sorry, I'm late to reply, but for those who use kosher salt, how much do you use per 8 oz of water?

1/4 - 1/2 tsp non-iodized (kosher, sea, pickling) salt to 1 cup water.

It's really not hard. I'd never buy a product that is essentially 1/4 tsp of salt in a packet.
