Anything I should keep an eye out for? I am over the "c" print bags, only want all leather. I dont want something that screams trendy either.
I need direction haha :) Any tips are greatly appreciated!
The store near us has always something on special or marked down. The inventory varries from time to time, but you can find both fabric and leather.
I have been able to buy a small/medium bag under 70 for a gift.
You just need to check the store from time to time.
The outlet near me has a lot of leather bags, probably more than they do C bags. I don't really have any tips but I'm sure you'll be able to find something you like. The last time I was there I found a lot of all leather ones that I wanted.
I don't know what exactly they have in their outlets right now because it always seems to change.
But I agree with looking for an all leather bag. I am over the signature print C's too. I think most people are.
Ditto on all leather.
Here's a printable coupon for 20% off.

Thanks! I got the email today for that coupon :)
I used to work for Coach... about 1/2 of the bags are "leftovers" from exactly one year ago (so now would be Fall/Winter 2009 bags) and 1/2 are made directly for the outlet. There's not much difference with the leather bags, but with the cloth bags this makes a difference in quality. If the sku has an "F" in it, it's a Factory bag. Also, once you pick out the bag you want, ask them to bring you SEVERAL out of the back room to look at, because some will be in better condition, where one might have a few scratches or something on it already.
Happy shopping!
I went to the Coach outlet in March and we had to wait in a line to get in because it was so busy.
There was no way you could ask for them to get you a few samples from the back
Our outlets also have tons of leather bags. I just got this bag in September and love it.
They also have tons of wallets, sunglasses, I love the Hamptons capacity wristlets (fit my bberry, a camera, money, lip gloss, id, etc)....

Sorry for your experience, but as I said, I used to work in a full price store (not an Outlet) and that's their job. I was trying to give the OP some tips to have the best experience, and that's one of the best ways. They are never too busy to help a customer, as long as the customer is polite and friendly. I have several friends that now work at the Outlet and they are still all about customer service...you are paying a lower price, but the customer service standards are still the same.
