NDR: My expensive Taco Bell Dinner...

Ha ha ha :)

I haven't been to Taco Bell in forever (probably at least 9 months to a year), so I figured I'd go to get my dinner since I didn't bring anything with me to work tonight.

As soon as I pulled up to the speaker, the guy welcomed me and asked me what I wanted.  I guess I wasn't prepared because I just blurted out "2 soft tacos" then I realized I should have said chicken, so I added "Oh uhh...I mean Chicken Soft Tacos" 

Then I saw that they have Cheesy Gordita Crunches, so I added " and a Cheesy Gordita Crunch Combo"

So the guy told me my total of $8.64, and I thought to myself that's sorta high for 2 chicken soft tacos, and a Cheesy Gordita Crunch Combo...But I thought, ehhh I haven't been here in a while, so maybe I just don't have a clue...

Nope!  Ha ha - Stupid me, I got 2 beef soft tacos, 1 chicken soft taco, and apparently the cheesy gordita crunch combo comes with TWO Cheesy Gordita Crunches. 

Anyone else do something like this?  Please tell me I'm not alone.... I'm still laughing - I totally should have said something, so that I didn't have all this food :-P

This happens to me at Taco Bell, too. We order a #6 which is 2 chalupas and a hard taco. Well, I like my taco soft and supreme, so a lot of times I end up with an extra taco instead of the one that comes with the meal being changed to soft.

We might not need the extra food, but we sure don't let it go to waste!

LOL!  I could probably eat every bit of that order too :)  I don't even remember the last time I went to a Taco Bell...probably at least a couple of years.

Haha... I have yet to visit a competent Taco Bell. They're always mixing up one thing or another. You'd think they'd read your order back to you...

I used to do this too. Just so I don't do it again I usually order the nacho supreme combo.

The TBell near me rocks!  I've never had so much veggies on a taco!  (lots of lettuce and tomatoes.. yum!)
