Rosie found them a counselor to speak to. The counselor narrowed down what exactly it was about their faiths they wanted their child to have. I missed what she said because I was doing a wiggly girl's hair. But I think the general consensus was that they wanted their child to observe the various holidays as part of the culture, not necessarily believe.
In the end, the baby was baptized in the Catholic church with daddy present and later had a naming ceremony according to the Jewish tradition.
It was so bizarre though.
