Intro

Just found this board, well realized what the BNOTB stands for.  Have been married for over two years and turn 30 this year.  A year ago DH and I talked about TTC at 30, but as the birthday approaches I have realized I'm not ready to and we're not really in the right place to start a family.

I started a small business last year as a Wedding Planner, started it on the side and now I'm doing it full time with a part-time job to bring in extra money.  DH is an intern-Architect and needs to take 7 exams to become licensed.  We are both in agreement that we need to build our careers first.

A lot of my friends who are married (about half our friends), either are pregnant or have had a baby in the past year.  So I do feel some pressure.  Luckily our parents haven't put any pressure on us.  Some days I feel like I could be cool without children, but then my heart does melt when I see a cute baby.  Anywho, until I really feel ready to have children I am trying NOT to conceive.

Nice to "meet" you all!
