Freaking out quietly about the in laws

My in laws are coming dec 22 ....very health conscious.... so with that said, when we visit them at their home in Vegas I always loose a few pounds!

* should I go buy extra healthy food before they arrive or should I pick them up and go straight to public?

Also I have a dog and he is super sweet but he stays in the laundry room at night and will cry for a little bit until he goes to sleep...sad I know! The guest bedroom is across from the laundry room and I am nervous he will wine all night while they are trying to sleep?

PLEASE help me!

I think you just need to ask them if there is anything they would like to have on hand for breakfast/ snacks.  That way you can get the basics in the house and then if there is things they want you (or they) can find time to go get them.

How will the dog react to having someone across the hall to him? A lot of times they will cry longer if they keep hearing people.  If that is the case I would find a little kennel and train him to sleep in it (in your room) while they are around.

Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

If you feel uncomfortable talking to them yourself I would ask your husband to do it. He can let them know you guys are planing to get groceries before their arrival and wanted  to know what they wanted or needed. I wouldn't worry about things you can't control like the dog crying. It would be like if you had a baby. I'm sure they would not get upset if the baby cried in the middle of the night.
