OPKs after clomid round when to start?

When should I start doing my OPKs after my last dose of clomid? Thanks!
5/27/12: Dx with endometrial hyperplasia without atypia, started metformin, progestin only pills started for 3 months 6/4/12: Diagnosed with PCOS 7/20/12: Endometrial Hyperplasia GONE! Biopsy normal! 9/18/12: Provera 10/12: Clomid (100mg) Round 1 - BFN 11/12: Clomid (150mg) Round 2

I started mine on CD 10. I think you want to start using them a few days before you expect to ovulate - which I  realize is a big unknown if you don't have a 'regular' cycle.
If I was a horder - I'd have a lot of YARN, who am I kidding I do have a lot of YARN!


TTC since August 2011 Cycle 8,9,10 - 50mg Clomid - BFN
Cycle 11, 100 mg Clomid & IUI - BFP 2/23/13 - m/c 4/2/13 @ 9w2d

My first cycle with Clomid, I didn't ovulate until CD23, and almost stopped testing because I was convinced it didn't work. (I am telling you this just in case it happens to you.) My second round I ovulated on CD 17. I started testing when I started having O symptoms. For your first round I would suggest you start CD 10 and continue to test until you have confirmed.

I'm on my second round of clomid. I'm now on 150 mg. last cycle we believe I O'd on CD 22.  But doc said the increased dose will help me to ovulate sooner. I'm on CD 7 now.  Taking my last dose today. Just wasn't sure when to start OPKs and bio. Thanks ladies. Please excuse any typos. I'm on my phone and under the covers trying not to disturb dh while he sleeps

I would start at CD10, we were told to BIO at least every other day from the last dosage.

I didn't use OPKs with clomid because the monitoring showed when I was about to ovulate. I also did clomid + trigger, where OPKs were irrelavent.

If you're not being monitored via u/s to show your growing follies, you should not be taking clomid......

After 31 cycles and two losses, we've been blessed with a healthy baby girl!
