Sports Bras???

Where do you get your sports bras from. I am looking for some nicer ones than what I have right now.

I looked at lululemon because I heard good things - but are they worth the money??

Suggestions?

There are lots of styles out there that won't break the bank like Aerie, Victoria's Secret, or Nike. I actually have an Aerie one with Medium Support and it works great!

Try some of these on for size :)

I like to shop for mine at places like TJ Maxxx, Ross, Marshall's, etc. Usually you can find really nice quality sports bras (Nike, Under Armour, etc) for great prices. Also, I really like the Champion brand sports bras that Target sells.

I used to love VS sports bras, but they changed them and now I can't stand them.

I now only wear lululemon. They are worth the money to me, but we all have different budgets (although if you want ONE super awesome bra, the tata tamer from LLL is amazing)

I'm also not a fan of Nike, but they run the same price-wise as LLL unless you go to marshalls/tj/ross. Go try on a few different brands and jump up and down to help you decide :P haha

I agree with PP, check out Marshall's, TJMaxx, etc. I have some Adidas sports bras from Marshall's that are really nice.

I was looking at the tata tamer - maybe I will get that one.

I bought one from target last night - and ouch so uncomfortable this morning!

Yeah when I was a 32DD the tata tamer was the only comfy bra. Now I'm a 32C/D but I still love it. It's the best for me for Body Step and running with all the bouncing and jumping :)

I prefer the Moving Comfort bras, specifically the Maia, but they have several options. The luluemon did not pass the jump test in the dressing room for me. I suggest going to a local running store, trying a bunch on, and jumping around in the dressing room. Buy the one you like the most, test it out a few days, then order more on Amazon where you can find them cheaper. But, yes, I think the better ones are totally worth the money if you really need a good supportive bra like me. (38DD signing in...)

When people are the most unlovable is usually when they need it the most.

Find out where/when the next marathon or half marathon is in your city, and then go to the running expo the big races always have. There will be vendors there with lots of running clothes (think comfortable sports bras) at a discount.

I also shop at places like Sports Authority and Dicks Sporting Goods, just checking out their sales rack.

I'm little up top though so I just buy smalls and they get squished down. The only concern I have is whether the bras have seams that'll chafe after 10 miles of running.

I would definitely say Lululemon is worth the money! I've had the same sports bras/workout tops with built-in bras since my college days (about 6 years ago) and they still hold and support like they should. My ultimate favorite (and one that's a fave among my friends too) is the Lululemon Ta-Ta Tamer. It's so cute and changes colors every season :)

The Ta-Ta Tamer...

If you're hesitant to go for it, another surprising option is anything Aerie. I actually like wearing their sports bras to work out because they keep "the girls" in place :)

I'm a 38G, does anyone have suggestions for me? The stores I've looked at don't seem to have ones big enough, or ones made for larger breasts...

Have you tried Champion sports bras at all? LOVE them. I'm not big chested (average I would say) but I hate it when the girls move when I'm going for a run, this definitely works! And they are pretty reasonably priced
