6 month wedding anniversary

Did anyone celebrate (or do something special) for their 6 month wedding anniversary? If so, what did you end up doing? Ours is the 26th so right after Thanksgiving, and I would like to do something special but I have not gone far with ideas. I was thinking about making an awesome dinner and then just a bunch of cuddle time. Ideas or thoughts appreciated! :)

No. We went out for dinner when we'd been married a month. After that we only celebrate yearly anniversaries.

We didn't do anything and generally wouldn't.  Your idea sounds great!  Especially after Thanksgiving and all that family time.  I am sure that it will be well appreciated!

We didn't make a big deal about it. I made a really nice brunch (which we never really do for the 2 of us) and had mimosas and had a lazy day. it was great!

We didn't do anything. Half/ 6month anniversaries have never been a big deal to us. A nice dinner, drinks and cuddling, watch a movie would be a great way to unwind after crazy holiday. It being your 6th month anniversary would be a plus.

We try to do something every month to celebrate. We can't always hit the exact date but we get close. But no matter what we get a bottle of wine and cuddle on the couch every month. And when we can afford it we take a weekend and get us a room, to get some alone time away from everyone. Both of our families are always around in some fashion and that is about the only time we are alone.

My husband ordered an anniversary room decoration and we stayed the night in one of my favorite resorts! We had such a great time.
Celebrate life and love with a romantic anniversary room package at any Hotel, B&B, or Vacation Rental in the U.S.
