Cookie Dough

Hi - I'm wanting to make snickerdoodle cookies and eggnog cookies from scratch. When I make the cookie dough, do I have to use it all at once? Would I be able to refrigerate or freeze the cookie dough? If so, how long would it last? Thanks!

Freezing is best because it wont change the texture of the cookie. Drop the cookie dough on a baking sheet and then stick the whole thing in the freezer for 20 minutes, then take all of the balls out and place them in a ziploc. Store in freezer for up to 3 months!

Awesome!!  Thanks so much!   I'm assuming then, you just bake them from the frozen state, or do you need to thaw them out?
