I'm honeymooning there this summer and am scouring tour books and Trip Advisor, but I wondered if anyone had been there and had personal recommendations.
We're focusing our time hiking to Cuidad Perdida, seeing the Catatumbo Lightning (going East around Lake Maraciabo to the Merida area), then SCUBA diving in Santa Marta. We won't be in Bogota except for air transfers.
