Need some D&R help

I'm trying to buy a new headboard for DD's room. I found several styles that I like, but am having a really hard time deciding on the color. Here is the link the pinterest board I've made. We all ready have the bedding, curtains, wall unit, and storage boxes. The paint color isn't definite, although I have leftover paint from the guest bath, so it would be nice to be able to use it. What color and style headboard would you choose? http://pinterest.com/lsu628/grace-s-room/

Cute options. I would go with wood - the fabric probably will get dirty with a child using it and it would be tough to clean. Also, I had white furniture as a kid and even though I was very clean and gentle on my things, it got all scuffed up.

I'd opt for a darker color in a child's room.

I'd probably do wood too, but if you are set on these headboard, I think the Notched Nail Button Headboard is pretty. If you stick with the paint color that is on the board, I'd go with white, but if you decide to do a lighter color wall, then I'd do a darker headboard.

I'd probably just do white with everything else you've got, although it'd be fun to add a new accent color.

FWIW, I did a fabric bed in DS' room and it's held up really well so far. It's helped avoid a few bruises and isn't dirty at all yet. I did pick a pattern, so maybe that hides it better than a solid fabric would.

I love the white, but agree with PP that it would probably get dirty. I would opt for something darker.

I like the painted wood - white - headboards.  Any headboard that you get will have a child's wear and tear occur.  With a wood headboard, it could be re-painted the same or any other color in the future.

Definitely not an upholstered headboard for a child.

Edit to add:  A fabric headboard will also get dirty and will be much harder to clean.  Just wipe down the headboard occassionally - no big deal.
