How exciting!! DH and I will (hopefully) be moving in Feb/March. The house we picked out has tan/beige stone floors and carpet throughout, so this is the color scheme we decided on:
I love navy and DH's favorite color is orange, so we thought it was a great compromise. We both also really love the purples that are in it. We will probably paint most of the walls a light blue/gray and have navy/orange/purple accents. Except for my sancuary (the kitchen). We are painting it the very light purple (on the far left) with orange and yellow accents. I can't wait!!!!
