Does anyone want to do a cookie exchange? We could even pair it up with the wrapping party if you want (I am not sure who is hosting that or when it is even).

I would host the cookie exchange but I am in Bellevue and I don't think many others are very near by. I would arrange all the details if someone else wants to host.

For your information:

A cookie exchange is where you bring x-dozen plated cookies (x=how ever many others are attending). You give each person at the exchange one plate of your cookies(one dozen). Therefore you leave with MANY cookies and MANY different kinds. And in one day's time all of your holiday baking is done. NOTE: Not just cookies are excepted, brownies, fudge, holiday candy, any thing homemade and sweet!

I just found a stretch mark on my stomach. It is big and noticeable. Is there anything I can do now? I had small ones from my first pregnancy but they were super low and I didn't notice them until after I had the baby.

I am starting to feel bad for the fact that I continually take in the Tag $10 off coupon in and buy books...seriously...every time, I take in like 3 coupons, buy 3 books, save $30...Out of this deal Berkeley is getting a Tag Jr with like seven books and Peyton is getting a Tag with 5 books...total savings...$125, easy...and that is NOT including sale price BEFORE coupons...

Poor college Target employee who never reads my coupons.

Does anyone else have a 2 year old with, like PMS?

OK so I'm trying to get caught up on posts from today and I'm confused... Do you pronounce your name Gina? Because in my mind I've always thought it was pronounced Jenna... And yeah I had a friend in college named Regina and we would always call her Re-gina (as in va-gina) and she would totally flip out... it was awesome.

I had Mara over five months ago...before that, I had went out MAYBE twice since having Berkeley so...in the past 2 years and 9 months-ish, I have had two nights worth of drinks.....and I am OH so craving like a green apple martini or a Malibu and something....mouth watering....Seriously, I need to get out.

My mom just called she got an email from my brother, his wife asked for a divorce, she has already left and has the twins with her....Then about 20 min later my bro called, I about lost is on the phone with him(tears). To make things worse DH is deer hunting at my parents and I can not give him a hug. But I did tell DH to go buy my mom frozen yogurt, she is pretty upset

So really just venting and asking if its stupid to send my grown brother "care" pakages for the holidays. Any other ideas are welcome too...

I go to pick the girls up after work and the teacher talks to me before I head out on the playground to round up the troops. She tells me that during naptime, she was going around to all the cots, just checking on the kids and noticed Lily was wet. Like, quite wet. Front of her shirt. Wet. Pants. Wet. Blankie. Wet.

So, the teacher asks Lily, "What happened?"

Lily: "Well, I had a big mouth full of water when I laid down for nap and then fell asleep so my mouth came open and I got water all over my shirt and pants."

Teacher: "Lily...are you sure that is what happened?"

Lily: "Actually, I had an accident."

Yeah, I;m scared shittless about the whole ttc and ppd thing. But, the good thing and bad thing is "if" I can get off the meds, that when I have a baby, I will go back on them the instant he comes out. Instant.

I remember one time I seriously sat in my car in the garage and cried for hours. Hours. No joke. My dh checked onme every now and then. I told him to get lost. I wanted out of my life - it was that bad. I wasnt bonding with Owen I think like I should have. I just wanted to stay in my room - and try to sleep but I couldnt. Then I would hear Owen cry,and I would cry. I wanted to pass him off onto someone else any chance I got. But, I kept holding it together, barely.

But, like magic, when I got on the meds. I felt like my old self again. I was the mother that I was supposed to be in the beginning.

I am terrified of being in that place again. Seriously. I dont wish it on anyone.

1) Cliques?! This is a local board. Which means quite a few people on here actually KNOW each other. Like, IRL. Therefore, there are bound to be people who are "friends" both on the board and off. Perhaps I'm in a "clique" with my SIL? Or Holly since we hang out regularly?

2) am07038943 -- Didn't you GBCN? Obviously you're welcome here, but I thought you'd sworn off the board and now you're the center of some drama-rama.

3) We co-sleep, but I'm not happy about it. I never, ever thought we would and swore up and down I'd never sleep in a bed with my child. However, it's just the way things have gone with AJ (Law never spent a single night in our bed). I slept on the couch with Andersen for the first two or three months of his life and he's been in our bed since. But let me tell you -- I canNOT wait to get moved into our house so he can have his own effing room. Where he will be CIO immdediately. I'm DONE.

4) I desperately want a pair of skinny jeans and Uggs a la Kristi.

5) Amy -- you are not mean. Sassy and ho-tacular? Yes.

6) Kristi -- get your butt over to my house with a paintbrush. You can walk over (does practically being neighbors make us cliquey?).

7) Speaking of the "in crowd"...why don't I have a PM? Rude.

8) The term "family bed" makes me want to barf.

9) Moving (esp with two kids) sucks big balls.
