Lolo, just curious - do you have a really low pain threshold? I do. I've considered threading, but I'm not sure. I find that things that other people say don't hurt that much (like that prick allergy test on your back) are painful for me. Yep, I'll be getting the drugs if I ever give birth.

My mom has always teased me that I have no pain tolerance. I think I've gotten to tolerate pain better over the years though. But for some reason, this threading of the eyebrows was horrible. It hurt more than BOTH of my tattoos...put together. I know I'll want drugs when I give birth too.

I tried threading once after years of getting my brows waxed. It was at a very reputable, hyped salon that specializes in it. On top of hurting like a mofo and taking twice as long, I was red for days. That never happens when I wax. I didn't see any remarkable difference in the outcome either. Needless to say, I've stuck to waxing since.

Wow..really? I prefer it to waxing. I dont think it hurts at all.

I agree...it's never been very painful for me, but then again I've been tweezing them since I was like 12 and am pretty desensitized to it now. When I had both of my forearms threaded though...whole 'nother story!

Sorry you had a bad experience! I had it done once & it went just fine - nothing like you described at all. Ouch!

YYYYEEEEOOOOOUUUUCCCHHHH!!!!

It hurt like a mother-f. I actually was tearing up so bad I couldn't open my eyes afterwards.

I do not recommend. Ever.
