PSA:Computer Virus

Seeing Mrs. Samantha Scott's post below made me realize that I should let you ladies know that there is a new nasty supervirus going around called 2008 XP Antivirus. It looks like a legit microsoft product but it is not at all!! Do not download it or allow it to do "recommendations" for your computer.

You know you have this computer when:

Your normal background is changed to a blue screen with a yellow text box in the middle of it stating: "Attention you have spyware on your computer that must be removed immediately" Then the Antivirus pop up will come up start to scan your computer and tell you have million viruses, and to see what it recommends. It also even gives you a price list of how much you can buy the product for.

Please be aware of this, and make sure you have a really good and updated virus and spyware program on your machine because apparently accourding to DH's firm IT people, it is the black plaque for your computer.
