If you can get a car number or a license plate, you can call and see who the supervisor for them is and file a complaint...

I haven't had that kind of experience before, but I've definitely had them where they speed by me w/o lights on at least 20mph over the speed limit.

Yes, you're right, they are supposed to follow all the same laws everyone else has to follow. I'd be pissed, too. They have strict rules on when they can run lights and siren, which apparently they weren't authorized to do, but that sounds much more dangerous than just lighting it up.

Aren't police supposed to follow the driving rules unless they have lights/sirens on?

I am still pissed about my interaction with CSP from 3 hrs ago. Crazy me, driving the speed limit with a car full of boys.

I was coming off the raised overpass onto Hwy 58 near Golden. I was still in the overpass lane since I hadn't reached the dotted line where the lanes merge.

This CSP SUV comes flying up behind me, cuts across to the left at the first possible opening, around me & starts weaving through cars on the highway.

Behind him is a CSP sedan, who also comes up on my ass. Now I'm at the point where lanes merge, but a-hole CSP cuts into the lane and keeps speeding up so I can't get on. (He could have gone into the empty left lane as well, but didn't.) I ended up driving on the shoulder waiting for him to get out of the way.

Both cars continue weaving in & out of cars until the next exit. Following WAY too close and basically driving recklessly. They tried cutting off a long line of cars to exit on McIntyre but ended up cutting into the middle of the pack.

They continued on up the road for another 1-2 miles in the same manner -- never turning lights on once. They didn't even get that far ahead of me since they were on a 2 lane, 35 mph road. Sheesh.
