Too many to mention. I have a handful of friends who are professional athletes, and have met many others. I've also met a number of musicians and a couple actors.

I met Dana Carvey on a photography field trip to Venice in HS. He was filming a movie there.

I met Blue October two years ago after their concert in Denver.

I was in a movie the day after I was born with Dezi Arnez Jr and Linda Blair - ha ha ha.

I met Sarah McLachlan after a free show she did with Alice 105.9.

Ian Gold (former Bronco) dated one of my BFFs so I met him during that process.

Aside from actually just seeing people on the street, I have very few famous people interactions and most aren't tabloid worthy.

I did meet (briefly) Hamish Linklater through my sister who knows him through acting. He's the brother on the New Adventures of Old Christine.

I also played spin the bottle with the lead singer of the Decemberists once - actually we grew-up together (same elementary, middle, high school), so we hung out in theater class, plays, and a few parties in high school and college. They aren't that popular outside Seattle area, though, so I doubt anyone really knows who he is.

I thought I met someone else, but can't remember now...

I forget who all I've seen. The latest was when I went to the taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Justin Timberlake was on there and we saw Sheryl Crow perform.

DH has flown a bunch of celebrities out of LAX and Burbank. When he worked out of Washington DC, he flew a bunch of political people on his flights. The best known was Hilary Clinton. This was back in 2001 right after 9-11. She flew from Buffalo NY to DC as a way to show that our airlines were still safe.

I went to high school with Katie Holmes. She was a year behind me, and she and my younger sister hung out in the same group of friends. Of course, this was before she got famous; her senior year, my sis was all excited about how Katie might get some part in a TV show. :)

I once interviewed Cyrus from the Real World. I guess that's sort of a brush with celebrity, albeit D-list.

And my family has a weird way of showing up in the tabloids. A cousin of mine dated Ed McMahon for awhile, and my dad recognized a picture of her while he was in the supermarket checkout line. And my sister picked up some celeb mag in the checkout line b/c there was a story on Katie, and they'd used a high school yearbook picture that both Katie and my sister were in.

While we were at dinner downtown, Will.I.Am got out of his van, stood on the sidewalk long enough to cause a major crush of people against the window around me, then got back in his van and left. I didn't recognize him, but people kept saying "the Black Eyed Peas guy!! LOOK!" I guess that counts as a brush with celebrity. ;-)

I've met a few bands

Met Cuba Gooding Jr. back in 1998 when I lived in So Cal it's a very long story, but I made out with him at some bar in Huntington Beach

I've seen a few not super famous people when I lived in So Cal

I'm not huge on celebrities, half the time I don't even realize someone is famous. We do get some at our station for interviews and stuff- but since I don't really watch much TV, see about 1 movie a year now, and don't read magazines, people have to tell me someone is famous.

When I interned at the Daily Show I met a lot... made coffee for them and stuff. Thrilling.

I went to a celeb edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire like 8 years ago. It was clasic TV stars so I was sitting right behind Florence Henderson and Valerie Bertanelli so I talked to them a bit, and Danny Bonaduce kissed me on the cheek which I thought was pretty gross.

The only famous person I ever met was Howie Day like 5 or 6 years ago before he got as popular as he is now. He played a $5 show in Boulder and my sister and I were hanging out afterwards and noticed he was standing outside smoking a cigarette. We went up to him and told him great show, we love your music and he was such an ass! Total jerk, pretty much rolled his eyes at us and told us to go away...ugh and he wasn't even well known yet! Since then I hate his songs. He sucks!

I used to go trick or treating at John Glenn's house, as he was a nrighbor, and he gave out full sized candy bars so we liked him.

Met Reagan when he was Pres and the Secretary of the Interior lived next door, that was awesome.

Met Al Gore when I was in college and worked a speech he gave on campus.

Last night I met Andre Miller who used to play for the Nuggets. I went up to take a picture and he acted like he was surprised to get recognized.

When I lived in NY, I met a bunch of NY Rangers players. I've also met Natalier Merchant and Spielberg and I've seen Yoko Ono walking around town.

i was back stage with the allman brother's and rode on their bus! my cousin was really good friends with one of the guys -- so they drove us from the concert out to the parking lot to our car -- you should have seen the stoned out hippies in the parking lot when the tour bus dropped us off!!! good times.

All the talk about seeing stars around town sounded cool, made me wish I was closer to Denver. Who has had any neat sightings or meetings with celebrities (not just this week, but ever)?

I use to work at a record store that sponsored many music fests. I got to work the autograph tent a few times and have met The Donnas, Jurassic 5, Chevelle, Rob Zombie, and almost got to meet Tom Morello.

I also was standing next to Natalie Morales from the Today Show last Thankgiving at Baggage Claim at DIA!
