Tonight: Early dinner w/friend of DH that is in town and other friends and their rugrat (ugh--He HIT me hard last time we saw them.)

Tomorrow: Depends on the weather. Bike ride, maybe some house cleaning, bike club party Sat. night.

Follow up visit with the doc today

I went in to discuss my options of Lupron vs. surgery.

The doc made a good point, namely that you will hear more about someone's negative experience than a positive one. However, that doesn't mean that I won't have the hot flashes, migraines, etc that a lot of the other women have had.

So honestly, I think I am leaning more towards surgery than Lupron. She looked at some pics of my insides that were taken prevously, and she said my endo is wrapped around my left ovary, which might be why it hurts so bad.

Almost everyone has good results with the surgery. However, if for any reason the surgery does not completely help my pain, then I still have the option of trying Lupron as well.

My only concern is the recovery time. I will probably need a week off of work, and I know from my appendectomy that it will be about a week before I can sit up or move around without help.

SO FLIPPING ANNOYED!!! So the past few days the side of my neck has been hurting and progressively getting worse. I was thinking its some sort of sinus pressure or something... I was going in to see my OB today, but everyone talked me into going to see the primary care doctor because they were open earlier. Well I get there, wait, pay my copay, wait, go back to see the dr. He comes in, basically tells me there is nothing he can do for me because Im pregnant and that I should have seen my OB. Goes outside to take a call, comes back in text messaging 15 minutes later. Offers to refer me to a physical therapist, then tells me there's nothing wrong with my neck. WTF!

Looking at proof sfrom the wedding we went to in RI a few weeks ago. Our dear, dear family friends. The dad passed away 1.5 yrs ago, and the bride's brother walked her down the aisle. I cried like a baby - we all miss the dad so much, but the brother has done such a good job stepping up and supporting the whole family. The photos of them walking up the aisle together are just too much. ::sniff sniff:::

If you worked right by the airport, commuted during rush hour, had kids, and wanted your kids to go to public school, where in the metro area would you live? Also, you couldn't spend more than $300,000 on a house. Would Peachtree City be a bad commute? Other recommendations?

As part of my renovation of the purple bathroom this weekend, I'm hoping to spray paint our ugly gold fixtures a nice weathered bronze. I have black spray pain and the brownish/bronze spray paint. Do I need to do a black coat first and then the bronze or can I just go straight to the bronze?

Any other tips/advice/websites are welcome, too!

I had boudoir pics made for H this past Sunday. I had a great time!! It was so much fun and I was so comfortable. Anyway, I am going to make a photo book of the images instead of just putting them in a photo album. I need suggestions on what to call the book. I was thinking about "Bedroom Secrets" or "Bedroom Stories". But I don't know if I really like either one of those. Any ideas/suggestions? One suggestion was " 's little black book"

What gets on your nerves?

grandparents comment on every loving photo of their grandchild saying "aww, (Nanna/Pop Pop/whatever they want to be called) loves you". Seriously the kid doesn't know the difference between letters and numbers and definately not how to read a comment on a picture over the internet.

So our doctor's office was doing this special with one of their patients who is a photographer, to do a free sitting and we just pay for pictures. So I drag DH two Saturdays ago, early in the morning (after he worked late the night before) to take pictures he didn't even want to take. Nonetheless, I am a crazy lady and wanted my kitty in the pictures, so we brought her along. She was fantastic!

Today, I get the pictures, they are fairly good pictures.... there are 20 of them (not happy about that so much, but whatever), only 2 of them Stormy is in (the cat) with me only, not me and DH with her. Now I understand we didn't pay for the sitting and that's fine, but I am still appalled. It's $50 to purchase 1 picture!!! $75 for 2 pictures!!! or $225 for a cd of 20 pictures!

Tell me I am crazy or not ...

Remember the Bumpie that had Crohns disease and had surgery a few weeks ago? She'd gotten better but took a turn for the worse last week. She was in the ICU but bleeding internally...

Shelly lost her battle with Crohns early this morning. She leave behind a baby girl, Ella, and her husband. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

The Bumpies will probably do something for the family or take up a collection. Keep an eye on that board if you'd like to help. I didn't know her, but a lot of my old Nestie/Bumpie friends were close to her.
