Yup...this stupid accident caused $8K in damage to my car.

Add to that the damage from the accident it got in when I'd had it for a month, and it will have had more $$ in repairs than it cost to buy.

I got smushed between 2 cars on the 55 fwy last night. Thank goodness I have a big car. My bumper is messed up but the BMW that hit me is fuuuuuucked up.

I was probably being an overprotective mommy but we went to the ER just to make sure Baby B was ok. Thank goodness Hoag is efficient and we were in and out within 2 hours.

it's been a shitastic day.

1) I drove all the way to work only to realize I forgot my work cell phone at home. I had to drive back home and then back to work. my commute is 38 miles one way. :/

2) I got chewed out by a 19 y.o. biotch in the office because I parked in the parking lot when I should have parked across the street. a) I was very late and b) it's pouring buckets and c) I forgot my umbrella in the office. and d) you are 19 years old - FVCK OFF

3) I just yelled at another girl in the office because she's being totally lazy and I'm pretty much doing her job for her. or at least I'm making her not look like such a dumbass.

4) I need a glass or 5 of wine but I've sworn off alcohol this weekend for my own good.

I think you bought the Cheer Game for the Wii and liked it. My 12 year old niece just made her JV Cheerleading squad and I was thinking about getting it for her for Christmas. Do you think this would be something that she would like? I read some great reviews online (even by men who said they loved it). Which one do you have? Thanks.

Anyone know much about kennel cough?

Jack was last vaccinated for it in August. We boarded him for a weekend approx. 2 weeks ago. Last night he started making that weird honking/coughing sound. He sounds like he's trying to expel something from his throat, but nothing is coming out. He sometimes starts doing that after he sniffs something in the grass, but this time it started while we were indoors. It's been continuing off and on today, indoors and outdoors, especially when he gets up from a lying position. His eating and bathroom habits are all normal.

My neighbor and H think it's just allergies. I would agree but for the fact that he was somewhat recently boarded. Should I be calling the vet now or wait it out for another day or two?

The Orange County owners of Maki Maki, a Japanese restaurant at the Irvine Spectrum Center, were arraigned Monday on charges of tax evasion and workers’ compensation insurance fraud.

Simon Sungheok Hong and his wife, Katie Kyanghee Shinn, both of Cota De Caza, are accused of shorting their insurance carrier and the state as much as $5.8 million with penalties and interest. The also own a restaurant in Rancho Mirage.

“The owners of Maki Maki are accused of underreporting their payroll to the State Compensation Insurance Fund and the Employment Development Department, as well as under-reporting sales tax revenue to the state Board of Equalization,” the Desert Sun reported.

Last month, Hong and Shinn abruptly closed both Maki Maki restaurants without notifying the landlords or paying employees of the businesses. The couple also vacated their home in the affluent Coto De Caza community of South Orange County

Do you know anything about Cover FX makeup? I had to stop using my lightening cream and my sun spots have come back with a vengeance. I haven't found anything that works to cover them up. I have read good reviews about Cover FX but wanted a pro's opinion. Have you used it or any other type of heavy duty concealer? Thanks dahling :)

because the bean has her 2-year doctor's appointment and not only is she getting immunizations, but we'll have to hold her down for them to find a freaking vein and draw half a vial of blood.

i have a knot in my stomach the size of a watermelon at the thought of this.

i seriously want to cry now to get it out before then, but i just know i'm still going to cry when it happens.

i want to throw up.
