I went out for dinner, and debated about getting chicken on my salad, because it's a dollar more. The salad comes with rice and beans, so it has protien already. Yep, i'm that cheap.

I think of it as training so that I can say no in a real store.

I bought a cat toy, 2 dog toys, a bunch of gift boxes, some tissue paper, a couple gift bags and some dish soap. I wouldn't have hesitated to pay three times more at a regular store!

Yeah... for me, it's not about the money. It's about the fact that I won't want it or know what to do with it when I get it home.

Or that it's candy.

You internally debate over dollar store purchases.

I was in the dollar store tonight and half the items I picked up, I thought, "Do I really need this? Is it worth a dollar?"
