Gibson's is also a fav, the Chicago cut, bone-in ribeye is memorable. My dad loves Lawrys and I don't think you can go wrong with that choice either.

Re: Chicago ladies - favorite steakhouse?

I think LC has raved about David Burke.... I haven't eaten there. Louis used to work at Smith & Wollensky but he doesn't recommend it so much. He says its way overpriced.

Re: Chicago ladies - favorite steakhouse?

When we visit Chicago we like to go to Smith and Wollensky. It is sooo good and right on the river so, you can have a good view too.

Morton's and Wildfire are also yummy but not as good in my opinion.

Chicago ladies - favorite steakhouse?

My dad is visiting and he is a big time meat & potatoes guy. He requested we go to a steakhouse. I was thinking Lawry's because he's a huge prime rib fan but the menu is pretty lacking for someone like my SM who'd prefer not to eat prime rib.

I've never been to Chicago Chop House or Gibson's. Would you recommend either? We've been to Morton's, Weber Grill, Wildfire and all have been pretty good from what I remember. We don't go to steakhouses all that often I guess :)
