This frosting is not too sweet and much different than a buttercream. It's more like a 7-minute frosting.

Try mixing some cream cheese into just about any frosting to cut down the sweetness. My mom does it with canned frosting because she's too lazy to make her own and it makes it taste much better. I've started doing it with just about every frosting I make from scratch since I don't like things super sweet either.

That sounds great! I can handle the sweet, it is my DH who isn't as much a fan. he still eats it though, so go figure! I will have to give it a try!

Anyone have one? I can't seem to make one that is not overly sweet. I love whole foods icing-I wish I could get their recipe.
