I got the Sephora by OPI Gelshine at-home system - love it! If you are halfway decent at painting your nails and love a gel mani, highly recommend!

I am digging a lot of the nail art designs I've seen on pinterest. I would really like to learn how to do some of them, but I know if I free hand it they will be extremely disappointing and amateur. I thought about trying some of these new nail wraps or decals that seem so popular, but using them with the gelshine topcoat. Has anyone experimented with anything like this?

I am all about making the mani last, so any ideas or tips for working new stuff in with the gel polish is a plus!

Hi!

Hoping to track down these shoes. I believe they were "n by nicole miller" but I could be wrong, based on what I can sort of make out on the shoe. I saw a similar one in DSW today, but now that i'm home...i'm not sure if it was the same designer.

Hey All! I received some BB Cream this month in my Birchbox. I'm excited because so many people keep raving about BB Cream (BB Cream this, BB Cream that...) But I honestly don't even know how to use it, when to use it, etc. What is this for? and more importantly, what does it do?

When i google it it tells me that it's for blemishes, but then why is it that i have heard people say that they put it under their eyes? Others have even said that they put it on their cheeks. So, how should i be using this product?

Plus, the BB Cream I got in my package this month is too pricey for me if i was to buy the full-size product, so if I end up loving the cream I'm hoping to get some great recommendations for some less expensive ones that I can buy -- anyone have any brands they are ready to rave about? :-)

What do you think of this top? I needed some more Spring things for work. Most of my pants are black and this does have some black in it. I thought it was kind of nice with it's Indian inspired look, but my hubby said it looks like a granny shirt.

I think I'm finally doing it! I think I finally have the confidence I never had before to seek out to be a model!!

A lot of people have told me I should look into modeling for about the past 5 years, since I was 16 years old. Not everyone is found, sometimes you have to go looking (:

A close friend of mine, who has been my friend practically my whole life is seeking out too, so we're going to be doing a lot together. We both have tattoos and piercings and are smaller, under 5 foot 7 and all that stuff..so we're looking more at alternative modeling since we are so petite.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm talking to my cousin now about doing my hair again and possibly helping me with pictures!! I'm so excited

Hello Ladies! I need a tan!! Im just super pale by nature. Here is the thing...I am in the process of getting my back tattooed, so tanning bed is out of the question. ( I just want a base tan to start the season). Has anyone used any of the tanning lotions? Like Jergens or whoever? I wondered if they worked well or not. Thanks!

My husband and I have been invited to a party and on the rsvp it says 'cocktail attire' The only thing that pops in my head is the scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts is sitting in the bar waiting on Richard Gere is her black dress. My attire every day is my work uniform, or jeans/shorts and t-shirt with some flip flops so my closet does not have a ton of options! Any ideas ladies? I need some help! :-)

Hey Guys -- for the past few months I have noticed that there's this large spot on my cheek on my face. I see it specifically when I am wearing makeup (it's a light spot that looks like I totally forgot to put makeup on). This isnt' just a speck or a small circle, it's pretty large -- which makes me know that it's not like I missed a spot when putting on my makeup. Strange thing: I don't see it when i take my makeup off at the end of the day!

What the heck could this be??? it's so weird!!!!

Looking for a new look

I just got a new corporate job (I was in retail for 4 years after college) and DH told me to go spoil myself at the salon and update my look in any way that I wanted. Problem is, I'm totally indecisive. I am open to color and cut as long as it's not blonde-blonde (I have olive skin and it looks weird. I also have dark brown hair so after a while, it turns to rust color) or really short like a bob.

Sorry it's a little blurry. My mom took it and she sucks at taking pictures. My bangs were originally the full-front bangs similar to Zooey Deshanel (sp?). However, they've grown out a bit so I've been pushing them to the side so I can see. My hair currently falls about one or two inches short from the middle of my back.

Thoughts?

When can I fix my orange hair?

About 3 weeks ago, I tried a new stylist to highlight my medium blonde hair. I usually go pretty light, with a lowlight or two. She totally effed it up, making the roots orange and the rest a brassy mess! I didn't really get the full effect of it all until I got home and in better light. I immediately texted her, and she said to try blue shampoo and to come back the next week if it was still bad.

Well, it was still bad so I returned the following Sunday. She put toner on my hair and it turned grey! So then my hair was a grey, brassy, orange mess. She said it would wash out. It did, but the orange/brassy remains. I had to leave for Mexico the next day, so I couldn't fix it more. I'm back now, so what do I do? I should also say my hair feels dry and yucky from 2 weeks in a row of chemicals. Do I need to wait longer to get it fixed?

From Dark Hair to Light Hair Help

Hi ladies,

Okay, I have dark brown hair (on the dye box it would be the darkest brown before going into the black colors) and I am really strapped for extra money right now. However, I desperately want to have lighter hair, like a caramel blond. Years ago I tried doing this via box of dye from walgreens, and needless to say it did not go well (hello strange orange hair) and had to dye my hair back to a dark color. Normally, if I had the money, I would go walk into my local salon and get it done correctly and professionally, but because of my long hair, this would start at $100 not including tip or any extra dollars due to amount of product being used. Is there anyone with tips on how to pick out the correct color at like a salon store where they have the professional dyes? Currently my hair is dyed, but it is dyed its natural color and was last dyed in July. Any and all tips would be helpful, Thanks!

How much will zappos put up with??

Over the last couple weeks I have ordered and returned over $1500 worth of shoes. I kept one pair that was about $80. I was looking for three pairs of shoes and was prepared to spend $600 total.

Even the $300 Cole haan didn't work out. Then on my third trip to Nordstrom rack I found a perfect pair of black pumps on sale for $50!

Zappos offers free shipping both ways and I'm a VIP customer. What are the chances they'll ditch me?

I did take the $250 I saved on my black pumps and ordered a Kate spade diaper bag that was on sale for $230...which I plan to keep.
