Looks like it was a toy grenade.
You know what sucks? I work in an adjoining building (our tower is connected to 2) and we were all on pins and needles waiting to find out what was going on and if we were getting evacuated. We could even see the NYPD outside. And I found out more info from THE NEST than I did from our own building security.

That's crazy, but I'm not surprised.

I've gotten more breaking news from P&CE than I have from almost any other source.
