Any company worthy crock pot recipes?

I need a company worthy crock pot recipe! My in-laws will be here on Thursday for dinner but we won't be getting back till right before. I was thinking having something ready in the crock pot when we get home would be best.

Any ideas? TIA!!

What about shredded pork tacos?

or I always make corned beef and cabbage in the crockpot.

Same with pot roast and veggies.

My crockpot post about family dinner was a big hit.  Its a pot roast recipe.  I made mashed potatoes and broccoli.  some biscuits would probably be good too.  i liked the gravy that it made

I've made brisket in the crockpot before that was really good.

I agree with pp, a brisket or roast would be good. That's what my mom and DH's mom often do for Sunday dinner after church.

If you want to serve potatoes with it, you could do mashed or twice-baked...there are several recipes for that you can make ahead and just pop in the oven to reheat.

I'm a big fan of pot roast in the crock pot.

The Newspaper said, "Say what you doing in bed?"
I said "We're only trying to get us some peace."

I'm going to add my vote for pot roast...I just made it last week, it's on the first page of my blog if you want to see the recipe.  Soooo good!

I made a 40 clove garlic chicken in the crock pot that was amazing! The recipe was on Bakespace.
