having wide feet SUCKS!!

I've been to every store that sells shoes trying to find SOMETHING cute for my vacation.  I ended up finding some super cute lower wedge sandals at DSW.  Some idiot had put two different sizes in the box and I didn't realize till check out.  They were only 1/2 size off so I didn't really notice when I was trying them on. They couldn't find the other pair and wouldn't sell me the ones I had.

So after 6 hours of shopping still no shoes =(

Seriously Mom it can't be THAT cold in New Mexico.

A have a friend in that situation. I also have one with the smallest feet in the world....she has to shop kids and there are only so many grown up options there.

i'm on the opposite end of the spectrum - small feet and they never have anything in my size, so i always end up in the kids department for tennis shoes, or at payless or target for anything else.

i've discovered ebay for shoe shopping. you can narrow your search by size, style, color, etc.

Same boat here.  Size 5, places like DSW rarely carry that size.  If I can find them in the department stores, they are usually the display shoe, where everyone's grubby hands and feet have already been all over them.

They are on there BUT almost $30 more! They were on clearance at the CL store. Also, I don't know if they'd be here in time =(

That stinks....I understand how frustrating it is, only mine is the opposite problem.  My feet are too d@mn skinny.  I only wish I could say that about my butt!  Dillard's had some really cute summer sandals when I was there a couple of weeks ago.

This will probably be no help since I can't remember the name of the store, but there is a shoe store just outside 610 on San Felipe that advertises that it carries all widths.  It might be worth a shot to see what they have.  I think it is called Brucettes, maybe?

I hear you!  Try Naturalizer online.  Many of the shoes come in wides, and some of them are carried in the stores; however they do have a better selection online.  Maybe if you found a pair that you like, you could call around.  I bought two pairs of sandals in wides from them online.

I'm right there with ya.  I see so many cute strappy sandals that I don't even bother trying on because I know that my big sausage feet won't fit.

Size 4 here.  It's Nordstrom or kids.  DSW doesn't even carry 4s on their website.

Been there, i hate my wide feet.  I always find super cute shoes that are too narrow and pinch my feet.

Sorry.

I totally understand. That's why I am not the normal girl and hate shoes. If I could be barefoot all the time or in flip flops I would.
