Other ways to display china?

I just got my grandma's china set (and will get her silver in Nov as well). We don't have a china hutch yet but I was wondering if there is any other way to display china besides that? I don't like the country-esque feeling of many china hutchs, though I have seen several at furniture stores that I like. I was thinking about getting one from an antique store but before I do, I'd like to investigate my options. Any ideas?

You can hang it on the wall

You could get a sideboard and one of those stackable servers that has tiers so you could put the plates on that and then set out a few of the other pieces you'd like to display

We have a hutch.  I like that I can display it and have it lit too.

You could get something like this.  I would definately check out local antique stores though, you may find better quality and I bet it would look great paired with the china!

These are both from Pottery Barn and are what I am looking for. We don't really have a dining room right now so I'm a glass door cabinet similar to the last one from Ikea for a solution until we move.

perhaps a plate rack in the kitchen or somewhere if you just wanted to display a few plates?

My cousin has a sideboard that she just stacks the china on top--a little more modern than placing them in a hutch.

I don't have formal china so I don't have to worry about this one!

What about plate hangers. You can mount your china on the wall http://www.hooksandhangers.com/

They don't have to be this cutesy but they have a lot of options.

Shelves would be nice.  We use plates holders for ours.
