I assume most of us have tomorrow off, so hooray for the weekend! What are your plans for the holiday?

We are headed back up to Maine. I'm still not sure exactly when I'm leaving because I am trying to connect with bff while she is home, I haven't seen her since she got engaged! (She is in NJ in med school). So I'll either be out of here tonight or tomorrow morning.

The lake we are on is all residential, so there are no public fireworks. But there are a couple houses who buy a ton and set them off together every year, so we always take the boat and sit out in front of their houses. Everyone on the lake does that, we have all come to expect it haha. Sucks for those people because it must get expensive, but I bet they don't want to disappoint! Stick out tongue

We are also going up to Maine.  Our friends own a house right on a lake so hopefully we will be able to get some boating in if the rain stops.  If the rain keeps falling we will just play lots of board games and hang out around the house.  We will probably head up sometime tomorrow.
Love living so close to the beach!

Good Morning!  Finally starting to get my groove back.  My MIL has a house on Onset Bay across from where they light the fireworks.  I really don't enjoy going because I'm not too fond of my MILs weird friends. This year I have an excuse:  I'm pregnant and it's too hot for me to be in the sun all day. lol

I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow! I had a lot of trouble getting to sleep the beginning part of the week and I was exhausted yesterday.

We may be going to Canobie Lake Park Saturday with friends, as long as the chance of rain doesn't creep up.

We're having a cookout at my mother's on Saturday.  Should be fun, I'm looking forward to it.  The kids will be able to splash in the pool.

Sounds like everyone has awesome plans!

We're going to the beach in Rhode Island tomorrow and spending the weekend on Long Island Sounds in CT. I think we might also make a trip to Mohegan Sun Saturday night!

Sad I have to work tomorrow.

I'm hoping it's slow.

We're going to head to Ogunquit on Saturday. Just for the day though.

Not really sure what we're doing on Sunday, but I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with H. It has been a very very long time.

It sounds like everyone has great plans!  DH and I really need to be better about planning things.  Of course, half the time it seems like he's not sure whether he has the day off, which doesn't help.

No plans for tomorrow, maybe we'll just go catch a movie or something.  Saturday we're BBQing with family, and Sunday we're going to try to see Transformers on IMAX.

Watching fireworks from a boat sounds like a blast!

We don't have any set plans (except going to Godiva Stick out tongue ), Dh is off tomorrow and we're going to try this barbecue place, Lester's, I'm not even sure what town it's in, we passed it on our way somewhere one day and looked it up online, it looks yummy! I was thinking of going to buy some burgers/corn on the cob stuff to cook on Saturday, I'm starting to get all nostalgic and sad that I'm missing my family's usual beachhouse cookout so maybe I'll just make my own!
