cindy453:How high is your BP? My doctor has been saying for WEEKS that I was heading for PIH or pre-e, and I've managed to fight it off
Hopefully you will too!
I do a lot of sitting in the recliner, a lot of eating, and a lot of nesting. Occasionally I will get up and do a load of laundry or put the dogs outside. It's super exciting. You can do it!
In my book is says 142/84, but I don't know if that was the sitting up or lying down measurement. That is much higher than my normal bp, but it doesn't seem scary high to me.
Oh that's really not too bad! My OB has been monitoring my BP closely for awhile- the highest reading I've gotten was 140/90, but it went down to 133/86 when I was laying down. My OB said once I hit 140/90 and it doesn't go back down, I'll be put on bedrest, but until then she is letting me work some as long as they are short jobs. And no lifting. She really thought working would shoot my BP up high and it would stay there, but so far so good!
I was terrified because I started having readings that were in the 130's range/80's range, and EVERYTHING online says that once BP goes up it doesn't come back down. So far I've been okay though... I just go into every appointment knowing I could be sent to L&D or put on bedrest.
Are you doing weekly NSTs/BPPs? I go in twice a week and they monitor my BP during that as well.
I think once your bottom number gets over 100 they start talking induction/hospitalization. I'll keep my fingers crossed your numbers stay down! Have you had protein in your urine?
