Need advice for 4th party tomorrow.

We were invited to a semi-fancy 4th party tomorrow.  It's kind of an engagement party for my sister thrown by a very old friend of my parents.

It's on Mt. Washington, invites were professional printed, etc.  Of course everything for the party is gonig to be supplied, so I have no idea what to bring and I don't want to show up empty handed.  I know for a fact neither of them are wine drinkers.

I just can't think of anything to bring that wouldn't make me feel silly b/c this couple clearly wants for nothing.

Waikiki beach rocks!

In contrast to earlier times, our state now recognizes that an individual's capacity to establish a loving and long-term committed relationship with another person and responsibly to care for and raise children does not depend upon the individual's sexual orientation.

Is there a possibility that you can go outside during this event to watch the fireworks? Why not bring some sparklers but put them in a super cute bucket or something for the adults to have some fun later on?

If not I've got nothing!  have fun!

I like the chocolate idea.  Plants are good.  What about a gift card to a nice restaurant?  When DH and I got married, we told people NO gifts but people bought us gift cards.  They really do come in handy.
