I'm taking DH to a belated B-Day dinner tonight.

Ah, I think Brad gets better looking the older he gets. I never used to this he was very good looking when he first came around.

i would give my left arm for my almost 2 year old to actually talk where i can understand him. dang it!

my DD is 2.5 years old and there are times I still don't understand what she's saying.

Now what you'd expect #1: We ran to Taco Bell to grab lunch and saw a guy with a purse. Not a messenger bag or anything else that you could find even a shred of masculinity in... a purse. A dainty little hobo-ish Louis Vuitton purse. After he sat down, he unzipped his purse, put his receipt away, and zipped it up. Later, he opened it up again to get his phone out to answer a call. He was quite comfortable with how to use a purse. I was completely mesmerized with his pursiness.

Not what you'd expect #2: The Girls Gone Wild Bus pulled out onto the 290 feeder right in front of us. It was painted much like you'd expect that bus to be painted... pink with pics of chicks in bikinis all over it. But what you wouldn't expect was the Dodge Caravan Mom-mobile it was pulling on a trailer behind it. Mini-vans just don't scream too-drunk-to-legally-sign-the-soft-core-waiver... but that's just me.

Foster seems to think yelling at me is hilarious.  He has been yelling this angry little yell at me all day and when I look at him he cracks up.  Silly baby. 

 Today was a good potty training day for us!  (I can't believe I even just typed that - I didn't think there was such a thing!)
And now I am going to the baby board to post about my potty training!

Oh, and I joined the Disney Movie Club for Alex.  He was thrilled to get 6 dvds in the mail.  I was thrilled to pay $21.90 for all 6!

LMAO! I just spit water all over my computer monitor!

I just cleaned my husbands tennis shoes with bleach and soap.  all because he got grub rub from the pork ribs all over him and the floor and the shoes.    I am such a good wife.

Now my hands smell like bleach... and it will take me FOREVER to get that smell out because my hands stay so dry all the time. 

I helped DH wash his car this morning and we were supposed to do mine afterwards. I left him to finish his so that I could feed DD and he comes inside to tell me that he is just too miserable to do my car, he's exhuasted and just needs sleep! He acts like he is about to die! I had to refrain from throwing my coke in his face b/c he isn't the one that gets up in middle of the night with DD! Oh and my car isn't clean either!

*Disclaimer: I know it really freaking hot outside but still .......

My ILs told us they might be visiting this weekend but then changed their minds a million times. We assumed they weren't coming until my Mom called 2 hours ago and told me that my ILs had just stopped by their house to tell them they were heading here. WTF?!

Thankfully the house is clean and it'll be another 6 hours before they are actually here. I am stuck with them until Monday. Monday is our big IF appt and I get to be super anxious all weekend with my evil MIL..yay me!

 We just got home from a great day:

1st: we had our weekly lunch date at HBJ

2nd: went to Armstrong&McCall to buy my year's worth of shampoo/conditioner

3rd: went to Baby's 1st furniture and finally purchased our entire set of nursery furniture!! YEAH!!! (now crossing fingers it arrives before the baby does).

4th: went to Sam's to stock up on my water bottles to last me until the baby comes!!

i made it to NOLA and got my hair did. I'm so glad the only drama in my life is my new highlights (as in they're a bit more dramatic, it wasn't drama to get them done).

alas, when my BIL said "happy birthday, i snuck it in early to be the first" DH got a weird look on his face. why you ask? he left my present at home. I tried to remind him by putting his medicine in the same bag but he took out the medcine and left my present there. the present I drove him to target at the mall to buy. why at the mall? because he wanted to go somewhere else there to get me something but couldn't remember what store it was. the joys of a brain injury. i'm not mad, but didn't want to vent to him because it's really not his fault. so i'm using SA as intended. to say anything i darn well please. whine over.
