My very first AB fail.

Alton Brown's overnight cinnamon rolls were a complete fail. I followed the recipe exactly - I feel like I'm falling out of love with AB. Sadness! Crying

Thats awful, I know Id be sad if I felt like I was falling out of love with AB (DH's only competition ;))!  What went wrong??

Aww, what a bummer.  I hate when a recipe I had high expectations for is a huge fail.  I have Peter Reinhart's cinnamon rolls in my blog and I think they are pretty much the best thing ever, so if you feel like giving them a try again soon, I'd recommend that recipe.  I make them often!  http://annies-eats.com/2007/12/30/heavenly-cinnamon-rolls/

I have made his cinammon rolls a couple times, they turned out okay for me, I just am not sure they were worth the effort.

I made them earlier this year and they didn't rise much at all overnight. But they did rise in the oven:
