Now that I saw her talking about it on tv . . .
I don't know what the opininons of her are in Alaska, but it seems to me to be somewhat irresponsible for an elected official to essentially quit. I think she owes it to the people who voted for her to serve her full term.
Maybe the people that voted for her don't like her anymore??
It seems to me that quitting because you don't have enough power is in some ways taking the easy way out.
On the other hand, she was gone so much during the election, maybe the lieutenant govenor has been running things the whole time anyway.
I don't like her, but I am not too concerned about her running for president. I think that she was a liability to the republican party and might have cost John McCain the presidency. But, what do I know, I'm a democrat.
