dining rooms w/dark furniture

I'm trying to pick out a paint color for my dining room. Right now we have NOTHING for the room. Our furniture is coming in a couple weeks - it's a dark espresso color. Does anyone have pics of their dining rooms with dark pieces? I need some inspiration!!

Ous is still a work in progress but it has tan walls and sage green accents.

I'm currently staining the cabinet to match the table and chairs.

PIB! Honestly I don't like the color. I would have preferred to do a khaki color and then decorated with blues and greens. This way I can change the color. When we repaint the LR we will also repaint the DR. But for now, this is what it is. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it though.

although we have dark sage green parson chairs in microsude, the furniture in the dining room is dark. ours is painted a soft yellow (as most of the house was when we moved in....we've been able to just work with it).

I don't have a pic, but we also have an espresso finish dining room set; the color we used on the walls is Benjamin Moore's ionic column.  I like it because it's very neutral but it changes depnding on the time of day/light hitting it.  Sometimes it looks off-white/beige, other times gray, and still at other times rosy.
In the end, it is not about the number of moments we breathe, but the number of moments that take our breath away.
