Bummed

I used to *LOVE* July 4th because we usually had a big family bday party on it, and our family would always be camping. I am still going to visit my family camping (when I say family, I mean my parents, my grandparents on both sides, and aunts and uncles on both sides) but I'm only staying until after dinner. DH and I were supposed to go to the drive-ins but he was told he has to work so now we have no plans for tomorrow night. :( I don't like July 4th anymore because DH always has to work. It stinks.

Married 2 years on September 22nd!

TTC #1 since Oct. 2007... I never thought it would take this long.
Early m/c 8/24/08
Suspected anovulatory cycles Dec. 2008, Dx March 2009.
3 rounds of Clomid 100mg... all BFN, 2 cycles with no O
IUI #1 (or some change in protocol) coming Spring '10

Aw I hate to hear that. Make DH make it up to you, it does stink he has to work though.

Want to know what is worse? He also has to work on my birthday next Saturday. :( We do have plans for the evening, and I'm getting a massage during the day, but it stinks that he has to go to work that night.

Why don't u stay @ your family's while DH goes to work? Then at least you can continue your fun!

There is a slight chance that DH could be called off. He works in a lab and when the factory is running the lab has to be open. They might finish everything before his shift and he could be called off, so I don't want to stay at the campground in case he does get called off. Plus I wanted to spend some time with him on the 4th and try to do something... maybe we will just go to a regular movie, but I don't think we will have time since I'll get home around 7pm and he has to leave around 9 or 10pm.

He works nights, so we could do it in the evening. We are going out to eat on my birthday with friends, so that helps.

I know what you mean...DH is working today and we found out 3 days ago that he has to leave tomorrow morning to go out of town for work for 2 weeks so my holiday and weekend are basically ruined since I have no idea how long he'll have to work today.  Lately he's been working from 6:30 AM to anywhere between 8-10 PM.
