Name Change in MA

I tried google and I got a lot of different hits. Most of them offered some kind of "free guide" that turned out to be a lot less free than they claimed. Anyone have a recommendation? I don't mind paying, I just want to pay for something that will actually be clear and helpful. 

Mass.gov keeps directing me to other sites that deal with children's names. I'm sure I could figure it out if I tried a bit harder, but a good guide would be great :)

If you change your name when you get married all you need to do is to go to the Social Security office and change it there.  That is the first place to change it, the next would be the RMV, you need to change it on your license.  Other than that, CC's, bank accounts, etc. can be done at your leisure.  Name change packages aren't worth the money.

Ditto exactly! Just search for name change forms on the SSA and RMV websites.
