Who plans it?

What creates an obstacle for having a regular date night?

We don't

I do

DH schedule and lack of motivation

We tend to go out to eat in the middle of the week because neither one of us wants to cook but it's not special or anything. 

As the weekend approaches I should plan something

What will you be doing?

What creates an obstacle for having a regular date night? We used to, but we enjoy spending our weekends with our friends. Some weekends we have different people over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

When I need a date night, I say "Dave, I need a date night. Let's go to XYZ", or I'll save, "Dave, I need a date night and I want you to plan it."

We have a baby, and we are both very busy.  

On saturday nights, we usually have a nice dinner (cooked by moi) at home with a good bottle of wine, that is as far as it goes.  We have been trying to go out for dinner for the last month but it never works, grrr.  Hopefully this friday.

No date night.  We tend to have dates regular enough that we don't need to schedule them yet.  Maybe in the future we will, especially once kids come.

We have a regular date, about once a month. But starting in the Fall we are going to start doing it weekly. Zoe can go be with her grandparents! It will be a scheduled activity, like Curling or something. No obstacles but pure lazyness up until now!
