Menstrual cramp like feelings...about 35 weeks

I don't think I've been having BH contractions because what I"m feeling isn't what they described for BH. A couple mornings a week after waking up, while getting ready for work, I get what I feel like are close to menstrual cramps really, really low, like almost in my pubic bone. They go away if I sit down. This happening to anyone?

Yep. Been having these for about a week or two know. Had a doctor's appointment this morning and she said they are completely normal during this stage of pregnancy.

Yep. Has been for about 8 weeks and I am still all locked up.

this is whats happenign to me the past 3 weeks... not sure what the heck it is- bc its not tightening- and i wouldnt even call it cramping- its like a period pain...achey...

dont know what to tell u bc i am dealin with same thing- but here i am at 39 weeks and no baby lol

Yes! Until today I was having them off and on since monday evening. I read that BH can also feel like menstrual cramping.

My Dr. told me this is a form of BH and completely normal. Feels like menstrual cramps.

But is it normal to have the menstrual-like cramps and a low backache at the same time? I've had the cramping for a week or so now, but also with back discomfort. I don't feel worried about it though. I read online that it's normal getting-ready-type stuff.

I've been experiencing some lower back pain along with mine, as well. Def. feels like that achy feeling you get during the beginning of your period. It's just wierd to me that mine happens at the same freakin' time every day!

Glad to hear some other people are feeling this too!

Yep... They started about a week or two ago and I have them maybe a couple times a day. I just think we're all gearing up for the big day!

I had this two weeks ago for about 3 hours. I called my OB who sent me to L&D. Turns out I was in pre-term labor with contractions 2-3 minutes apart. I'm a fingertip dilated and 50% effaced. I was surprised b/c it only felt like the cramps I get before my period starts. They gave me medicine to stop the contractions and I"ve been on bedrest ever since. Might not be a bad idea just to call if you're not 37 weeks yet.
