1 Are you close with your family? yes
2. Are you close with DH's family? most of them...yes
3. Does either family live close to you? nope...his parents are 2 hours away, mine are 1 hour.  We have a set of grandparents and  a couple of aunts close, but don't see them too often.  I should say, we see the grandparents quite a bit, but we go to them. 
4.. The saying "every family has "that" one person....Does yours??  yeppers!  It's my cousin! 
5. How many siblings for you? 2...older brother, younger sister
6. How many siblings for DH?  2...younger brother and sister
7. What's one thing people would be suprised to know about your family? I was adopted when I was 2 weeks old and my Mom passed away due to an aneurism in the back of her brain.  The adoption wasn't final yet, so my Dad had to have a petition go all around our hometown that he would be a fit father and he should be able to keep me.

3. Does either family live close to you? IL's are about 25 min from us
4.. The saying "every family has "that" one person....Does yours?? I better not. I have already threatened to kill any of them if they try.

7. What's one thing people would be suprised to know about your family? We are related to Every person here with the same last name......(I am reaching here)

1 Are you close with your family? I adore my family and sometimes I wish we were a bit closer. My mom and I were v. close before she passed away. That made my family feel closer. Now that she is gone it is much harder.

2. Are you close with DH's family? DH is v. close with his family. I'm not as close with his family, but haven't really known them that long. It takes time.

3. Does either family live close to you? My brother is the closest, west of TC.

4.. The saying "every family has "that" one person....Does yours?? Not really, unless it's me. ;)

5. How many siblings for you? One brother, two step brothers, and three step sister.

6. How many siblings for DH? One brother

7. What's one thing people would be suprised to know about your family? Hmmm...I don't know.

1. Very close.  My mom raised us on her own and I think that gave us all a very special bond.

2. I'm friends with my in-laws yes, close? no.

3. Both our families live within 20 minutes of us.

4. DH's does.  His brother was kind of a screw-up though he's really gotten his act together recently.

5. 1 brother, 2 sisters, I'm the oldest.

6. 2 brothers, he's the youngest.

7. Can't think of anything...

1. Yes - I am close with my immediate family and my mom's side.  I spent weeks at a time with my grandparents when I was a kid and go on family vacations with my uncle, cousins, siblings, etc.
2. Not really.
3. They're all in the Twin Cities.  My grandma lives less than a mile from us.
4. Haha!  Yes.  My uncle, and he even admits it!
5. I have a brother and sister
6. DH has a brother
7. If someone knew me and then met my family they would be suprised that everyone is so loud and disorganized.  It's like the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding."

1. I am very close with my family, as is DH.
2. DH is close with his family, but I'm not, except for his Grandparents who live 5 hours away.
3. My immediate family is all within 10 minutes, most of DH's is within 45 minutes.  Then we have some more close, as well as scattered from 2-7 hours away.
4. We have "that one person" in every branch of the family tree!  2 Cousins, an uncle, and DH's uncle.
5. I have one older brother and his wife.
6. DH has younger sisters, twins.
7. My grandpa has a different father than his brothers, so although he was raised as my Great-grandpa's child, we are only step-relatives with most of our large extended family.

3. Both immediate families live in the Duluth area.  My sister lives 15 minutes from me.  Extended family lives "far" away- mostly in other parts of MN.

4. Yes, we have "that" person.

5. I have 2 siblings.

6. DH has 4 siblings.

7. I don't know...

1. Yes!  Very.
2. With his brother and his wife because they live near us, not so much his parents and other siblings.  Probably because they live far away and we don't see them much.  He is with them though.
3. My family lives about an hour away.
4. I have some interesting cousins to say the least.
5. One brother one sister
6. he has one brother and two sisters
7. We still do Santa on Christmas morning and hunt for real eggs on Easter morning, (yes, my parents hide them) even though I am 26, my brother is 21, and my sister is 14.  I tried to end the Easter hunt this year but my sister was upset because it was "tradition" so we still did it.

1. I would say we are pretty close.
2. Yes, they live in Fargo though so we don't get to see them as often as we would like.
3. Well since we are currently living in my parents basement I would have to say yes, very close.
4. On DH's side we really never see any of his Dad's relatives, they are all kinda strange, none of them came to the wedding, or even RSVP'd.

2. DH is not really close to his family.

3. Not mine (they are in NC and NY) but all of DH's family is from Minneapolis area or WI.

4. yes - lots of cousins!

5. I have 1 brother.

6. DH has 1 brother and 1 sister.

7. umm, both my brother and I attended private boarding school for High School. My parents believed strongly in private education and there were none in Western NY where I grew up so away we went! yes, it was kinda like Facts of Life for me.

2. Not at all, except his younger sister who also sees that the rest of them are EVIL.

3. They all live in Nebrasaka, except two of my sisters (who live here...we all ended up here by happenstance).
4. Yep...my older sister!

5. Combined total of 9, includes step and half...it's all in my bio.

7. That my core family (my mom's, where i grew up), though a yours-mine-ours family is super-duper close.
