Since you were so kind to help with house ideas last/this year I felt I should update you ...Otto's bandmate had kitchen work done and referred us to an awesome, down-to-earth contractor who we have a follow-up appointment with next week. While three other companies entertained our multi-wall-demolishing plans and gave us ideas of the astronomical costs it would incur, Susie gave it to us straight and told us all the possible complications we might have as well as why it might hinder future buyers. So we're now planning to use our rooms as originally intended/as our sellers used them, but we'll still open up the dining room wall to the kitchen and do other kitchen stuff to make it more open (adding a breakfast bar, getting rid of wine glass cabinets, etc).So we're finally moving ahead, and can also plan what kind of furniture we'll be buying soon - yay! Perhaps I'll have to throw a GTG when everything's done this summer/fall to show it off. : )

BTW - FNL starts next month! HOORAY!
