Poll: What do you miss about home?

I can't remember who all is a native here...but if you are not, what do you miss about home?

Tara's Miss Texas post got me thinking about home (which is Texas) and I miss spring in Texas and how it is actually warm there.  And I seriously miss the wide open plains.  I don't even like the mountains.  Oh, and its time for the bluebonnets...and I won't even get to see them this year. :(

And decent Tex-Mex...I miss that too.

Yes, he's laughing at you.

I miss long john donuts from Clipper's IGA in Whitehall, Wisconsin.  I will probably plan a trip back soon just to get them.  I might see some family, but I'm really going for the donuts.

:(  My parents just moved away from where I grew up a year ago (from IL to FL).  I don't really miss Illinois but I really, really miss the home I grew up in.  It was beautiful and completely surrounded by huge, tall oak trees.   I miss my friends who still live there (or in chicago) and I don't know when I'll see them next.

I miss the Mexican food on the north side of town. Does that count?

I've lived lots of other places, but I couldn't stay away from CO.  I don't think I'll ever leave.

I'm from Indiana, and I miss the green, the trees, the rain, and as stupid as it sounds the fields and fields of corn.

I grew up in a small town in North Central IL.  I miss the big old Victorian house I grew up in & the big backyard.  I miss the brick road out front, the huge trees & having my best friend in the world 3 houses down.  I miss my friends (who are mostly in Chicago)...basically ditto Denverite.  Otherwise, not much..though I really miss my Grandparents but they are gone now anyways.

I live in NM for college & I agree I miss the food!

I miss Disneyland, being only a 2 hour drive away from my family, the ability to get a mani/pedi for $40 including tip, my family's tradition of SDSU football games.  As it turns out I don't miss as much as I thought I would.

I'm from D.C.... I miss crabs, seafood, the beach, trees, leaves changing in the fall.  Probably more, but that is what I miss right now.

I do NOT miss humidity, though :)
