OMG! We might be moving to Golden!!

Jeremy has been bitching about gas prices a lot lately.  He even was trying to convince me he needed to buy a motorcycle to save on it.  We live in Bailey and drive 35 miles to Golden to work.  He was a little drunk last night and I was teasing him about moving to Golden and he okayed it.  Turns out he was serious!  He wants me to start looking into it.  But selling a house is scary scary stuff.  And the timing between selling and buying?  Not going to be fun.

Ooooh, I'm soooo freakin' jealous!!!!  I'm over the drive to work and being so far from my babies.  Good for you!  Be positive.  Too bad you don't want to go to Littleton, I've got a beautiful 4bed 3.5 bath for sale.

That's great, as much as I'd love to live in the mountains, I think gas would start driving me nuts! And Golden is beautiful!

Thanks Carrie!  I was trying to use that recolorado site but needed the subdivision name.  There are 2 for sale in there but not really in our price range.  The $575K one is VERY pretty though.  So sad.

And we'll keep you in mind.  I think we were thinking about using the guy we used to buy our current house.  He seems to have a real good knowledge of the mountain market.

That might actually be a good idea.  I don't know if he even works down in Golden.  We are also thinking about behind Green Mountain, there seems to be more in our price range there.
