Oral surgeons?

My husband desparately needs to get his wisdom teeth removed. Any suggestions for an oral surgeon? We aren't too picky, as long as the right teeth get removed! TIA!

I used Dr. Grelner (sp?). He was the Lightning's oral surgeon...and I'm sure those guys are frequent customers. This was about 8 years ago though. He was on MLK. Nice guy. I would recommend him.

Thank you so much! I think that's hilarious - I'm sure they do go to a good oral surgeon!!

I *highly* recommend Dr. Monteleone. I don't remember his first name - don't even remember his phone number, but I know he is located in S. Tampa, somewhere close to Henderson. I went to him in 2001 to have my wisdom teeth removed. He came highly recommended to me by 2 coworkers. He was FANTASTIC and I've had no problems (and didn't have any problems then either, no dry socket or anything). He was great - his staff was great - there aren't enough great things to say. My husband and I now live in St. Pete, but DH needs his wisdom teeth removed soon so we plan to take the drive to Tampa to see him again!!!

Apparently there are 2 Dr. Monteleone's - I guess his son is in practice now too? I went to the older one (who I think is named Louis) Either way, great practice. I'd trust them. :)
