So I'm switching from tri-sprintec to yasmin...
I forgot to ask my doctor...do I need a secondary form of birth control for the first month?
I switched (and back again) before, but was never told to use backup.
You can if you want a little peace of mind, but I've heard you only need to do it for the first week (like when you first start B/C) not a whole month.
I switched from ortho tri cycline to yaz last month. My dr said if i started it just like I should have stated a new pack... I didn't have to use a back up.
BT using a back for a few days might give you a little extra piece of mind.
