So DH's flake brother is getting married tomorrow, and DH is in the wedding. He and his fiance have been living together for about 6 years and have a 5 year old daughter already. They are also potheads, and party all the time. We are not close with them at all, but DH is required to be there obviously.
So today we finally hear about the rehearsal - after the deal at the church we are supposed to go to the reception hall for the "dinner". Which turns out they have ordered a bunch of pizzas and a pony keg, and we are supposed to help SET UP for the reception tomorrow. Not just decorate, but drag tables and chairs and the whole deal. WTF? It wasn't even like they asked for help - they just make it a requirement.
UGH. Reason #582 why I cannot stand his dumb brother.
Ok, vent over.
What a douchebag BIL & SIL...sorry you have to deal with that.
Chloe, my thought exactly.
And after spending 175 to rent DH's tux, there will be no gift for them. Greedy bastards
