Home Depot customer service sucks!!

We had an appointment yesterday at the Enfield Home Depot to talk about kitchen cabinets and it honestly was like talking to a brick. The guy was terrible and offered no suggestions or information. I don't know how they ever sell kitchen cabinets or anything in that area with people like that working there.

We left after 10 minutes and went to Budget Cabinet Sales in Agawam and that was a great experience! The owner sat with us and looked at our measurements and drew up a kitchen plan for us that was absolutely awesome. Then we walked around together and showed him which cabinets we liked and told us which ones would give us "the most bang for our buck." He's going to put everything into the computer and then in a few days he's going to fax me the pictures and let us know the price. I can't wait to see the pictures and find out how much it would cost.

I think today we're going to head to Express Kitchens (at Amy's recommendation) and check them out, too.

Fun!

We just put in a kitchen from Home Depot this winter.  My rec...never ever ever ever use home depot for a kitchen....it was a logistical nightmare.

You'll be much happier using someone else even if you pay a little more.

GL!

Sorry you had a bad experience at HD.   Sounds like you did great with the other place, though!

I suggest you write a letter of complaint to HD.  I have done it and gotten a 10% off coupon.  You may not use for them for your kitchen, but a lawn mower, fertilizer, rakes, lights, etc.

Hey, we went to Budget Cabinet for the kitchen in our last house.  Nothing but good things to say.  Also check out Kitchens of Distinction in Southwick.  A bit of a drive but they gave us the better price for identical cabinets.

Saw your post above about black appliances and crown... We have all black appliances and reddish maple cabints, too.  Love it!  Go all the way and order a black sink, too.  Our kitchen sink gets lots of compliments and it's a breeze to clean.
