Kind of good news re. Parker's HW+

His x-rays showed healthy lungs and heart and his blood tests came back with mild changes that occur with HW and with ehrlichia, but he is in stage 1. I thought so, since he has hardly any symptoms, but at least now we can be cautiously optimistic that he'll respond well to the treatment. He'll go in for the first injection in about 3 weeks. Until then, he is cleared at least for slow 15-20 minute walks. Of course, he'd rather run around the yard for hours, but we'll take what we can get!
