has anyone stayed at the ceasars poconos resort? how was it?

I live in the Poconos, and know most people shy away from them due to the skeeve factor. There are much nicer places to stay.

However, a GF of mine stayed at one recently. I think she talked about it on her blog: gailandgreg.blogspot.com

I drove by Caesars the last time I was in NEPA visiting my family, and I thought it looked cheesy.  I'd recommend staying at a B&B instead.  There are some wonderful ones around that area.

DH got me a 2 night vacay there for our first Christmas as a gift!  It is pretty expensive!  Oh, and I agree w/ the cheese factor!  It could definately use an update and the round beds w/ mirrors need to go!

I understood that it underwent major rennovations within the last year or two & they fixed some of the skeeve factor but reputations die hard. 

If you have a choice, look into the Great Wolf lodge.
