Hostess Gift

Needing ideas for a few hostess gifts for the upcoming holdiays.  We usually have a few win/cheese parties to go to.  Any ideas?

A bottle of wine perhaps? Some cookies or a quick bread?

I don't know how big of a gift you want to give, but I have given chocolate houses as gifts before (same as gingerbread but made out of chocolate molds).  They are always a hit. :)

You could make some pepper jelly or some other kind of jam/jelly and package it up cute.

You could give a cute wine cork (or whatever they're called... stoppers?)

Set of linen coasters

Cheese knife

Cheese cutting board

I am loving this idea :)

Other ideas are also on this person's blog- no clue how I came across it.

You could do a nice hand soap packaged nicely, a bouquet of flowers, potted poinsettia, a nice scented candle, decorated sugar cookies -you can do stacked cutout stars to form a christmas tree:

There's always wine...

I always love fresh flowers.  You can get a nice bouquet of peruvian lilies from Sam's for $6.

Another cute option for the wine/cheese parties is the little thingys that go at the bottom of the wine glass so you can keep track of whose is whose. Nice set of cloth napkins Baked good in a seasonal dish. Get the dessert, keep the dish

I like making an assorted fruit basket with a neat looking bow.
